Excellence in Littleton real estate didn’t just happen. From early times when Apache, Arapahoe, Cheyenne and Ute Indians fought for and loved these lands, Littleton possessed a natural landscape that rivaled other beautiful locations in Colorado.

Neighborhoods are some of the most desirable and exclusive in the Denver Metro area.

  • Ken-Caryl Ranch, a 9,197- acre community 18 miles southwest of Denver, offers the some of the most desirable areas in Metro Denver. The ranch boasts 6,000 acres of open space that is full of wildlife – deer, turkeys, coyotes, elk, black bear and or mountain lions. Homes range from multimillion dollar mansions to affordable single family housing in the high $200,000’s.

  • Highlands Ranch, a 22,000-acre suburban master planned development, stands out even in the lucrative Littleton Colorado market. Local and national builders continue to develop new homes here, a neighborhood just 12 miles from Denver with light rail access convenient to Denver.

  • The northwest part of Littleton contains half of affluent Greenwood Village and most of Cherry Hills Village.

Buyers would need to consult a buyer agent to find the hidden gems of real estate investment in Littleton. Buying a home is one of the most important purchases people make, and the right buyer agent would help buyers navigate the scary ins and outs of the current Littleton real estate market. Residents are choosy about their schools, sending their children to Cherry Creek School District or Littleton Public Schools which offer, according to some people, the best public education in Colorado. Cherry Creek hast the highest test scored in the state and 93% of graduates go to college. The tennis team always ranks as one of the highest in the state. For recreation, Littleton residents enjoy the $11 million Douglas H. Buck Community Recreation Center complete with a lazy river for resistance walking or tube floating. Full fitness areas provide a place for seniors, youths and everyone in between. Weather in Littleton is something to brag about: the sun-swept city averages 300 sunny days a year. The temperature averages range from 77 degree highs and 48 degree lows in September to 81 degree highs and 52 degree lows in June. Snowfall is possible from September through March, but when the sun shines in Littleton – which is most of the year - the temperature feels much warmer than what the thermometer says.

Littleton distinguished itself several years ago with a clever plan to attract new business to town, in addition to one of it’s major employers, Lockheed Martin. Called economic gardening, the initiative called for local businesses and entrepreneurs to create their own image – to grow jobs through their own abilities instead of the old way of recruiting. The venture was successful and Littleton pulled itself out of the 1980’s slump. The master mind behind the economic gardening is Christian Gibbons, Littleton director of Business and Industry Affairs.

Great deals on luxury Littleton Colorado real estate are on the market now. Buyers with the direction of the right buyer agent can grab a mansion, an affordable single family home and everything in between for a well-negotiated price. Rolling plains once inhabited by the Utes and Apaches are now the playground of the discerning home buyer. Acres of open space still are there for pleasure, wild-life viewing and a dream lifestyle.
